About the choir
The Polytechnic University of Madrid Choir has been active for more than four decades. It is an initiative supported by the University Rectorate and forms part of UPM's extensive cultural programme.
Join the choir
Students, academic and administrative staff at UPM, friends of the University, and anyone with a love of music are welcome to join the choir.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 in Building A of the UPM Rectorate (Av. Ramiro de Maeztu, 7 — Ciudad Universitaria, Madrid).
Rehearsals run from January to July and from September to December, with a break during August and during the University's Christmas and Easter holidays.
To join the UPM Choir, you will need to attend a vocal audition and perform a piece of your choice. Auditions are assessed solely on musical criteria by the choir's director, Javier Corcuera.

Auditions are usually held at the beginning of the academic year in September and, occasionally, in January. Candidates who have submitted the form will be contacted when audition dates are arranged.
